OK, so if I buy BTC through paybis (as that was the 1st one listed) does it just sit in a wallet on their site until I'm ready to put the recipients code in (a day or so later?). Is that all I do? Does it disappear? Does it sit there indefinitely? Do I need to move it around somehow as a baffler or does that not work/not necessary?

yes, exchanges are happy to hold your coins and you can send them directly. there is some privacy and control to be gained from your own wallet but its not required.
I've just come across Exodus app. I believe its a wallet but it looks like you can also purchase coin from them. Anyone with experience of using Exodus? Good bad or indifferent?

I've found bittylicious for buying the bitcoin and then Exodus for a wallet has been very good. No matter where you buy the coin from, you'll have to provide ID, proof of address etc. Just remember - buying bitcoin is totally legit. Bittylicious has got very good rates and based in the UK. Exodus is a simple enough wallet and pretty cheap fee's again. One last note... I used Lloyds bank and they did a 'security check' before putting the payment through. This is because the banks don't want you buying bitcoin - it ruins there fun. I tried to say I was buying investments then they started asking loads of questions... I then realised honesty is the best policy and just told them I was buying crypto and put my god dam payment through. But they did and all is cool. So don't be surprised if that happens and just say "it's my money and I'm very happy to do with it as I please - respect my authority!"

we always say start small, and go with a recently rated seller. if the seller is in your country your chance of a problem is near zero. if importing your chance of a failed delivery is 1-10% depending upon the restrictions and customs practices in your country.

Make sure if they ask for passport photo I'd just send it to them. Most coin exchanges need this. If you don't have passport not sure how you go about that. Check emails for I'd needed in your Gmail.

you can send from paybis. if they have minimums or other unhelpful policies just send to your own wallet (there are lots of free ones) and pay for items from there.
these exchanges have wallets to hold your crypto but i strongly suggest you seek self custody and send coins to your own wallet then send payment from your own wallet. sure you can send payment from these exchamges but to me thats direct connect the exchanges wallet to LB vendar wallet that cant be good. once you have your own wallet and transfer, its just your wallet keys and nothing connected to any exchange when you view the transaction online this info will only have yours and the LB vendars public keys. far safer than exchanges to LB Vendors if you ask me

One of the main banks I use to get my crypto has been Santader, just convenient for me. Tried to make a payment to Binance today after Coinbase closed my account without giving me a chance to ask or dispute why (Turns out I was buying drugs online what am I like ay?).
Literally spent all weekend with you cats getting a feel for what I should get, had 12 things in the cart got down to 10 went to buy some BTC, text from Santander "We don't allow this anymore".
So i've been having a dig at what's actually allowed, and Etoro are because they're allegedly regulated by the FDA, except when you're signing up they ask for every single detail about your life and i'm really not comfortable with some of the info they wanted.
Any advice on a straightforward alternative? I don't mind using Etoro if I have to but now i've got to wait up to 3 days before I can even put an order in, my wifes away for the night Wednesday and I had every intention of going scorched earth i'm so disappointed.

Definitely possible, it was actually from Coinbases side it was closed I googled it and it's happened to thousands of people, turns out they owe you no explanation and that's that so when I go to log on it says "In the middle of account closure" and only lets me transfer out my current balance.
Shame really, coinbase was straightforward enough but I can't get a second account on there since it's all ID, I have no problem using an alternative, I do have a problem with there being a 3 day hurdle every time I open my eyes.

When you find a place to buy btc, sent the funds firstly to your own wallet, then from your own personal wallet you can buy as many drugs as you wish.

Coinbase and binance are blacklisted and banks are cracking down on crypto, like Sam said monzo is a good option it takes half an hour to set up and they welcome crypto buys and you can link it to your main bank account to transfer funds across.
same thing happened with me with Santander, then tried a couple of days later and all ok. No problems since. Halifax also allow me to buy bitcoin at coinbase.
try Revolut. You can use it to buy on coinbase or Binance as far as I am aware. But you can also buy various crypto direct through the app. Useful for day to day purchases also. You will need your own wallet to send your coins to (and then use them as you want). Doubt it will help you out for Wednesday though unfortunately

I have a problem with the whole ID thing, especially using btc since it's only pseudo anonymous. I had been looking to make my first buy and was going to use changelly, apparently you can buy under $150 without ID verification, anyone used them? what's your opinion?
As long as you have a personal wallet and don't sent to LB directly from where you're buying you're fine.

How to buy with such high fees?
How to buy with such high fees?
How can one afford to buy right now with transaction fees being as high as they are right now? I want to make an order, but to send $30, the fee is currently being marked at just over $25, so I'd effectively be paying double for the vendor to get everything. Is there another way I can send BTC to avoid this right now?
I started buying my coin on a uk company whose app is called bottlepay. itâs been so much better value than using coin base or Binance so far. Only a couple quid tops each purchase. I send from them to an exodus wallet. On exodus you can adjust the fees when sending with a little slider. The standard fee is like you say over ÂŁ20 all of a sudden but when lowering the slider can change it to a much lower amount. It takes a few hours instead of mins but is much more cost effective
Don't know if they're maybe going down or not, looking at placing an order of ÂŁ250 tomorrow, CB fee only ÂŁ10?
sigh...just getting ready to put in my first order and see this, would have been my first crypto transaction too. No way I'm going to accept paying 50% or more of an items worth in fees. I was reading up on the lightning network someone mentioned, don't suppose LB is on it? So let's say I put in an order around $60, whats the lowest fee people think I could pay on that and still get it processed reasonably quickly for a vendor here? it's all enough to make me miss the simple days of having a dealer a 2min walk away, never had much variety, but my regular pollem was a lovely mellow smoke.

Coinbase exchange then sending to Blue wallet. It's the Blue wallet that's charging astronomical amounts to send to other addresses right now and all my BTC is there now, so I'm worried that even if I switched to another wallet, transferring funds from there to another is going to be costly. Just wondering if vendors would accept BCH or Lightning instead as the trade is better that BTC right now, or do I wait until the bubble bursts...
Take a look at Atomic. When I purchase through them I'm given a sliding scale to decide how quickly I want the transfer to happen - pay more for a quicker transfer - but I always go as cheap as possible and it usually works just fine. Occasionally it'll say try again later, but not very often.

Hi people of lb Iâm here asking your help on how and what items would be best to help pain relief
I found little biggy last august and prior to that all I knew was roll and smoke but since then I have realised there is much to to weed then that lots of uses types and ways to consume the stuff
My mum is someone who struggles with severe arithritis and fibromyalgia both of which are illness that are common in older women but recently her pain has gotten much worse and the hospital prescribed meds can only do so much before they turn her into a zombie so I thought there could be a alternative way to medicate her through thc
I have looked at some edibles ,canna caps and vapes. I think that vapes would be good as Iâve tried dr Terpys before that have worked wonderful with me but I would never trust stuff like that with my mum as it could have adverse effects I was looking into edibles but wouldnât know where to look and how to dose I currently have some on order from radar breader but am not too sure about them as I saw a thread earlier claiming his vapes were fake.
It would be helpful if anyone had any reccomendations on what to try and how to dose so she can still function normally while in less pain I am open to any ideas or help from you guys so feel free to ask any questions or leave any suggestions

Id recommend a tincture . Apply a small amount under the tongue and go from there . sativa for day use and indica for night time use . Be carefull these things are strong . But much better than legal drugs the doctors try and push .

If its troubles with dosing,I have some shatter capsules at 10mg each and come in a pack of 20. These are broad spectrum (no cbd).
Some vendors have 'wellness oil' (full spectrum) which comes in bottles, each drop from the pipette would have (x) amount thc per drop, so you could dose that way.
Or as others have suggested, RSO. But maybe mix with something to make it easier to measure out.

Kratom for pain and low dose naltrexone is worth looking at as well if the arthritis is autoimmune.

I have a family member with the same issues, I make them a 10mg/ml cbd salve, I put thyme, peppermint, and lavender essential oils in too. They say it helps a lot. They used to wake with the pain 3-4 times a night, now they can sleep right through & they were able to drastically cut back on the stuff the doctor was prescribing.
If you want to be sure about edibles just buy some shake & make them yourself, plenty of recipes out there, and it will cost you WAY less than buying ready made edibles. You could find a forum for people dealing with those conditions using edibles and ask on there for recipes and dosage.

30mg edibles I d start at then up 10mg a week to 60mg stay at that and if your mum is probably still in pain try 80 mg then 100mg it may bring on sleep but pain should of gone , I m not a doctor so take it easy

Wondering if it would be safe to get something sent to an address in the UK (purchases from UK vendors) i don't own. Will the name not being a permanent resident of the address cause issues?
Id be worried if the airbnb has a mail redirected thing on the address,like they might get all letters sent to owners address or something,just a thought

I accidentally sent payment to the seller without checking out in the cart. I've ordered from him before so I just sent the Paynent straight from coinbase. Will it be refunded?

Did you send it to a previous wallet address? Transaxe uses a different address for each transaction.
You can't lose your payment here so don't worry. Contact the vendor and let them know and also contact Transaxe with the order details and wallet address you sent the payment to. Should be fairly easy to resolve.

Can I have a parcel send to the post office and collect it if I give my name and the post office address to the vendor? Has anyone done it? I cant have it collected to my house because of my girlfriend not cool with it.

Cheers mate. If it was legal like in US you wouldn't had to hide in the first place and there wouldn't be so much stigma about it.
It really depends on what they mean by "ruined their life". It could be that the person was blazing from breakfast onwards. Doing any mind-altering substance for recreational purposes from the moment you wake up is not going to be greatest for achievement purposes.
I think it is far worse drinking from 8 in the morning versus smoking weed in the morning. The issue with weed was it was much more acceptable to actually smoke weed as you don't get to the point where you cause the same type of social hassle. But people do smoke it all day and still function fairly highly and have high-paying work.
Sometimes "ruined their life" means their grades dropped, but they grew a social conscience from hanging around the "wrong type of people" which inhibited future earnings. Being an asshole unfortunately pays.
A few people I did know had schizophrenia. But really that is a numbers' game with how many people I knew.

to be honest I smoke a few joints only once every 4 months or so. The thing is that I want to show her with the first delivery that you can actually get a bit of smoke with out any dramas and then prob I will ordering to be delivered at home. Thanks for letting me know mate. To be honest I've set a redirect already to another post office just in case the current one declines my parcel so we l'll see
quick update. Yes you can receive parcels at your post office just call them beforehand and ask if they accept parcels for Local Collect and if you can use their adress. Not all of them do though. No need to rent P.O. box and pay a fortune, no need to use post restante is for people who travel or are on the go.
You can rent a po box though not sure that is a good way to get your hash,i think i might be bricking it every time i went to pick it up and not sure if vendors would be happy shipping to it.

Lucky you. Had the same happen to me where my order was sent to the wrong address and rather than get it resolved I just got a reason to tell me why it hadn't paid rather than a solution from Transaxe Support and the vendor didn't reply once in 5 days. This happened when I paid over the odds fees too so that's probably lost forever. I've tried my best to keep faith with when it goes wrong but this has left a real sour taste.
For perspective - over the last few years I have gone from a full time income in a MOD company to part time work trying to full time care with this financial climate as the backdrop so this place has worked as a lifeline for me. To take a financial hit of ÂŁ150 and not have anything to help my wife is a sickener, especially when im coming on here and seeing people have waited 50 odd days to have any response in a similar situation to myself with no solution in sight. I can't take that financial risk any more. I'm always fair and agree to the terms any vendor/LB has for sale but I have been totally let down here. I'm not sure I'll be able to continue this any more. I can't take the risk.
The orders expired now (7am UK, 15/5/23) after being there since Wednesday.

Yep I found I'd sent to the previous order I'd made. I can only put it down to me being tired at work and instead of opening Firefox (opens all pages) I must've done opened the other browser which was probably on the page. I've no idea how but I have but when it comes to requesting it to be looked into I'm not getting anywhere other than being told what I know already.

Of course. I really don't like pushing people into prioritising me and I certainly don't want to queue jump, the whole LB site and everything it stands for I fully believe in and if anything it's just a lesson to me to take care when ordering (not doing it at the arse end of a night shift is going to be an ideal starting point). It's absolutely brilliant when it works. I'm just going to have to sit on my hands and hopefully the next message I get is news I have access to my funds. I've managed to order a replacement for this order so once the funds eventually clear I will only be putting that towards something nice off here.
I'm quick to jump onto here when things are getting me panicky so I feel it's only fair to say that Transaxe have been in contact to request a wallet address to send my original funds back to. Thank you for your help everyone and hopefully that'll drop back my way soon. Chances are it'll be reinvested on here fairly quickly.
