I've just placed an order for the first time. I sent the required bitcoin to the vendor's order address but I'm wondering how the vendor knows the payment has come from me for the order when all I've done is send bitcoin to the vendor's crypto wallet. How does this action connect it to the order?

OK, so if I buy BTC through paybis (as that was the 1st one listed) does it just sit in a wallet on their site until I'm ready to put the recipients code in (a day or so later?). Is that all I do? yes, exchanges are happy to hold your coins and you can send them directly. there is some privacy and control to be gained from your own wallet but its not required.
I've just come across Exodus app. I believe its a wallet but it looks like you can also purchase coin from them. Anyone with experience of using Exodus? Good bad or indifferent?

So I've made a wallet with electrum but if I want to buy bitcoin off those sites it asks for I'd verification? Is there a way around this? Is it safe to buy bitcoin for use on this site when you've had to verify you identity? Seems mad dodgy to me...
I've found bittylicious for buying the bitcoin and then Exodus for a wallet has been very good. No matter where you buy the coin from, you'll have to provide ID, proof of address etc. Just remember - buying bitcoin is totally legit. Bittylicious has got very good rates and based in the UK. Exodus is a simple enough wallet and pretty cheap fee's again. One last note... I used Lloyds bank and they did a 'security check' before putting the payment through. This is because the banks don't want you buying bitcoin - it ruins there fun. I tried to say I was buying investments then they started asking loads of questions... I then realised honesty is the best policy and just told them I was buying crypto and put my god dam payment through. But they did and all is cool. So don't be surprised if that happens and just say "it's my money and I'm very happy to do with it as I please - respect my authority!"

I found bittylicious to be very expensive. I bought £10.70 worth of bitcoin and was charged a total of £13.33 for it.
pretty much the default behaviour is suspect but there are lots of ways to obfuscate for a bigga that cares. bitcoin atms are anonymous in many places and theres always p2p traders.
A bit of a boomer question... Do I need to confirm that I've received the goods so that it releases funds from escrow to the seller? What if I buy without logging in, how do I confirm receipt then?
No, you don’t need to confirm receipt for funds to be released in due course…in any event (including not having logged in) funds will be released unless you raise a dispute…or your funds will be auto returned to you if the items are not marked as sent by the vendor…

Oh it is mate. Some quality super trooper smoke on here. Even the shakes are quite potent. I was happy when I recieved my first order. Best feeling. Just expect some low strength on some products but you always find new strains and top vendors on here with those fire strains clean smoke. Hope it all goes well with your orders new guys. Bless
we always say start small, and go with a recently rated seller. if the seller is in your country your chance of a problem is near zero. if importing your chance of a failed delivery is 1-10% depending upon the restrictions and customs practices in your country.

Make sure if they ask for passport photo I'd just send it to them. Most coin exchanges need this. If you don't have passport not sure how you go about that. Check emails for I'd needed in your Gmail.
added tip: buy usdt on exchange then wait for dip on BTC usdt pair chart buy btc then wait for price to go up then buy LB order with btc and by doing this this way most of the time the postage and fees payes for itself seams obvious but for anyone buying regular on here should get to know and use the cryto for what its for (making money)
you can send from paybis. if they have minimums or other unhelpful policies just send to your own wallet (there are lots of free ones) and pay for items from there.
these exchanges have wallets to hold your crypto but i strongly suggest you seek self custody and send coins to your own wallet then send payment from your own wallet. sure you can send payment from these exchamges but to me thats direct connect the exchanges wallet to LB vendar wallet that cant be good. once you have your own wallet and transfer, its just your wallet keys and nothing connected to any exchange when you view the transaction online this info will only have yours and the LB vendars public keys. far safer than exchanges to LB Vendors if you ask me

most go direct from the exchange for convenience. some exchanges have prohibitive fees or privacy issues, in this case get wit da wallet ;}

if it doesnt refresh simply contact transaxe support with the order id or the btc address you sent to.

I have solved my own problem 😊 for anyone else having a problem:- Whoever you buy your bitcoin with, download the Wallet. I thought it would be in the apple wallet, but No, Once you download it, it will show how much you have. Go to buying page and copy amount of bitcoin needed, then go to wallet and say you want to pay, repeat with sellers address and press send. 😊😊😊😊 Hope this helps someone

You can dispute as normal. Tab appears on your order page from Day 9. If it’s a quality issue though remember that it is often subjective and you may not get a 100% refund. Have you discussed it with the vendor and tried to find a resolution?

Your original account has been judged as ‘disruptive’ mate. Don’t take it too hard, I’ve had the same☺️…you are held in purgatory and may get algorithmic release sometime. Whether it’s actually the Algo that does these things or not I really don’t know 🤷♂️

‘Dispute’ in blue in the left hand margin appears after 9 days. Top of the page in small print shows the dispute time window. If vendor has buggered off your refund may be faster if fraud is suspected…👍

You’ll get a message asking for a wallet address and once you provide this it’s normally with you in 2-3 days unless transaxe are under pressure..
From my experience 3-6 days but spamming my details couple times actually helped sometimes you send it and can’t find it

Each order goes to a unique wallet address at Transaxe where it is held until it’s released to the seller. The vendor will get a message from Transaxe when your payment clears.

Not all sellers offer PGP encryption and I feel uncomfortable sending my personal information on here.
In the past, I have used privnote (https:// privnote. etc) to send my address, but the system now thinks I am conducting external transactions - "please do not use little biggy for external transactions, this results in reputation loss and expulsion"

Just got this tracking status for a package…
Anybody else had this before?
It says something like
“We’ve r received instructions not to deliver to the property your mail is addressed to. We will attempt delivery in line with the instructions we’ve been given which is usually the next day”
Several years of the post game, never seen this before.
Should I be worried? It’s not just a few grams.

I had it before on a Saturday. Think it just means they intended to post it today but something went wrong. Ie postie off work or parcel arrived after they’d departed. It will usually just be posted the following day. I think it’s something RM use in there system to bodge figures so it doesn’t show as a missed delivery

If the dispute is still pending settlement click ‘resolve’ on the order page to cancel it. A settled or timed out dispute cannot be cancelled…

Hey! I have recently made a purchase from a seller and went through the ordering process as normal, address/payment etc. The order was then shipped out. After two days (today) I decided to ask for a tracking number and the seller promptly provided!
Upon receiving this tracking number I was surprised to see it was down as delivered. Checked my door, nothing. I then looked back on the tracking (that the seller provided me) and upon pressing 'map of delivery' I could tell immediately the package was sent to the wrong address.
Royal Mail provide GPS coordinates from where the package was scanned, and upon checking where it led on Gmaps I found that it has been sent to a house on a road with the same name as mine, however a different postcode. I know that I didn't make this mistake upon ordering as I made other orders at the same time and they all arrived.
I then messaged the seller and was (expectedly) hit with a reply calling me a scammer and due to my account age. I've been a longtime lurker and only just started ordering recently and I can see where the seller is coming from, it doesn't look great on my end.
I have tried to explain that the tracking number that the seller gave me is essentially proof that it didn't arrive at my address. They said they keep a log of postcodes and orders for this kinda thing and I asked to see which postcode they had down to me but have been met with profanity and now silence.
Realistically I know I will most likely have to dispute this, I'm just wondering how I should approach this? Is there any recommended way to go forward (once I can dispute)? And has anyone had a similar situation at all?

So if I understand this- the suggestion is that the vendor put the wrong postcode by mistake yeah?…but what are the odds that a randomly wrong postcode would have the same road name as yours?🤯
That sounds more like an RM error to me. The vendor should hold off on the accusations and confirm the postcode they sent it to. But they may not have done anything wrong…

Yes! It seems to of simply been posted to a different address (with the same street name) that's like 15+ miles from my actual address. Same city different borough. I didn't actually know that this existed myself until today.

I didn't mention but I agree it could be a royal mail issue completely - The lack of help and immediate conclusion of me being a scammer from a big seller though... Not nice to see and without having being given any more information from the seller (which they told me they have) I can only make assumptions with what I have.
This happens alot. Grab the postie by the scruff of the neck and get him to lift ur parcel or man up and go and collect it. Something tells me that the house holder will notice it’s not for them and won’t open it & probably waiting for you anyway!!
Not a bad idea to be honest.. only given the contents I don't really wanna go to the address and risk them having potentially opened it - I'll comm with RM more tomorrow during working hours (also the house is like a good 30+ mins away other side of the city)

Sounds really annoying. Waiting, and praying, for orders to arrive safely is easily the most frustrating part of this otherwise wonderful website. I'd be gutted if something like that happened to me.
It is possible it was always destined for your house, but RM sorted it incorrectly. I live in a block of flats and, occassionally, I will get mail from the equivalent address from a similarly-named nearby building. Not as extreme of an example, but it happens.
To be honest, it is in sellers best interests to work with customers on stuff like this. Both for good PRs sake, and it being simply good business sense to work these problems out so they don't affect future customers.
Maybe go back and apologize you came across as accusing them? They might be more reciprocal to someone saying 'I genuinely think something has gone wrong somewhere, and would be grateful if we could get to the bottom of why it happened' over 'you made a mistake'.
If it comes to a dispute, you should have proof of (a) other orders that arrived with the same details, (b) the parcel was sent to a wrong address, and (c) DMs showing that the seller refused to help via informal channels. Should be fairly slam dunk, but I don't have direct experience with the dispute process myself.

I do definitely agree that royal mail COULD be to blame. I only say could because I've never had this issue before in the decade of living here... I think it's possible the first line of my address was copy pasted (the number and street) and then maybe the seller hit enter on the royal mail website to buy online postage? But to be honest I don't know for sure. It's all speculation.
To be honest I feel like an apology wouldn't be needed from my side - I did approach normally and just simply said it didn't arrive at my address. Last message I received ended with: 'Mate... I do 40+ deliveries a week. You really think I haven't seen this con before? 😂' - Lovely.
I do agree I have now realised with more time I have enough evidence to win the dispute if it comes to it but I really didn't wanna have to go down that route. I'll keep you guys updated with the situation maybe the seller just went off for the day. I'll always give benefit of the doubt and I don't even blame them for their response because I can understand why they'd see it like that - Hence no name etc
I do definitely agree that royal mail COULD be to blame. I only say could because I've never had this issue before in the decade of living here... I think it's possible the first line of my address was copy pasted (the number and street) and then maybe the seller hit enter on the royal mail website to buy online postage? But to be honest I don't know for sure. It's all speculation.
To be honest I feel like an apology wouldn't be needed from my side - I did approach normally and just simply said it didn't arrive at my address. Last message I received ended with: 'Mate... I do 40+ deliveries a week. You really think I haven't seen this con before? 😂' - Lovely.
I do agree I have now realised with more time I have enough evidence to win the dispute if it comes to it but I really didn't wanna have to go down that route. I'll keep you guys updated with the situation maybe the seller just went off for the day. I'll always give benefit of the doubt and I don't even blame them for their response because I can understand why they'd see it like that - Hence no name etc

Auto Settlement Borg doesn’t collate evidence. It’s an Algo that pays % refund based on ‘reputation’….
You are certainly unlucky…those sort of RM fuck ups with tracked mail must be rare.
When you open the dispute it creates a 16 day window for you to try and resolve it with the vendor. After that the Algo settles it. Who is at fault here?…in some ways we have to share the risk of post?…the Algo will give you a % pay out. No way of knowing what % in advance…

I do really feel like I won the unlucky lottery... and that's true - I can determine where it went wrong with RM as their CS is pretty good but in terms of anything that would be usable in a dispute I am unsure.

My order is showing as paid on the transaxe page - 3 confirmations on blockchain so far - but I'm still being prompted to pay the remainder on my order page. When i click on 'pay remainder' it takes me back to the transaxe page that tells me it's all paid! Very confused! Any ideas?
sometimes it's a confirmation issue ... u might need to txt transaxe if it does not clear itself... if u do txt, put ur purchase no. in title for swifter reply

You only realise how totally rancid tobacco is once you've stopped smoking it. Never again. I only vape or take edibles.

Yeah, you don’t need to be logged in, some Biggas prefer the anonymity. Your order will go through the same but you won’t be able to see it, review it or dispute it….but you will get it! 🙃

Hi guys, I’m a noob in need of some help. I’m looking to place my first order and was wondering if there’s different options available when it comes to delivery? I see most of the items have special next day delivery which is great but usually requires a signature on arrival and I won’t be available during the day, is there a standard delivery option or one that won’t require a signature when delivered? Help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
If in doubt message the vendor before you order and see what they can do. The Green Team do free postage which doesn’t require a signature.

As you said it does require a signature but if they try and youre not in, you can go onto the Royal Mail website and enter the reference number to select a different method to collect (either redelivery on a specific day or collect from the distribution centre).
For us, we want to make sure buyers are protected and there is no doubt that the package was sent and ALSO to get to them pronto :-) Hope that helps bud

Hey, you select your shipping once its in your cart, most vendors state their shipping options at the top of their page in the Manifesto.

Unfortunately, I dont have a permanent address as of recently, and I wanted to know what my options are for getting deliveries. I know PO boxes can help with this, and Im planning on getting one, but I wanted to see if there was any cheaper options before I spent the money. I was hoping itd be possible to get stuff delivered to my local PO and then I could just go and collect it, like you can do on Amazon with Local Collect. Has anyone else done this? Is it even possible? Or am I being stupid lol.
If anyone has any better ideas, solutions or similiar experiences Id really appreciate the help.

Sure👍….just Google ‘Royal Mail- Poste Restante’- it’s one of the oldest global mail collection systems going. You can check on the site for your nearest post office in the scheme and gives you the address to use….

I've looked Into Poste Restante, but you are likely to need ID showing your home address.
The plan that I came up with was to find a seller who would give you tracking on day of sending without fail, use bogus address close by, and use said tracking to change delivery to pickup from PO as I'm 99% sure you could just use a passport.

Poste Restante is for when you don’t have a home address. You just need to show proof of name, a passport is 100% fine as it’s designed for travellers but to be honest I’ve rarely been asked for that. How else would you know there was post there unless it was you?…there would be little point of going in and spouting off random names 😜…but yeah they should ask for ID…passport works👍

Mate, it might say all that on the website (never looked in many decades!) but it’s honestly not the way it works- you can absolutely use it as a simple post pick up …just say ‘I’m travelling…

i put in an order 4 hours ago, it's definitely been sent from my wallet, but on my orders it's still saying unpaid and prompting me to pay the remainder. i placed the order on society using cryptonic cause i couldn't get dot com to load. did i fuck something up?
Find the transaction ID from what you've sent from your wallet, and if clicking on that doesn't take you the mempool address that BBDoom has linked directly (some wallets do, some don't), then cut and paste that into the search bar of that Mempool address and it should give you a rough ETA for the transaction. It can be wildly wrong though, telling you it'll be 20 minutes and then it actually takes hours.

I scored half a brick of hash and all arrived ok. Problem is the gear has been washed and is unsmokeable, it really is foul! Ok, guy said he’d refund if I sent it back and then just went silent for the last two weeks… this is MadMick92, he’s pulled the garbage hash and is just selling RSO, he’s a petty crook and needs to be removed from LB. I sent it back after a refund was promised and to date have received no refund or further communication… I got done by this mofo
You can dispute the order after 9 days (I think it's 9...someone else can confirm).

You've done the right thing by contacting the vendor for a solution first, if you feel you're not getting anywhere via direct communications then you're well within your rights to open a dispute.

Someone below mentioned Coinbase and Paypal earlier and I had to use that option today. Santander have blocked crypto but with Coinbase there is an option to change the way you pay as long as you have a paypal account linked to the Coinbase account. Only spelling this out as there must be others like me that can't be arsed with crypto but have no choice but to know how to use it
I use Scamtander and occasionally have to call them to verify the transaction but they always allow it. Aside from websites like LB i also buy Porsche parts from breakers in Germany and US who accept BTC only and those transactions can be 1000s, Scamtander are more likely to stop the smallers one on LB or Hydra, Wall St etc
A few of the big banks here in the UK are completely unfreindly to bitcoin and I've found Lloyds to be the worst.
for me then, I just opened a Monzo account and I've set up a standing order each month to shift my 'spending money' (£500) to Monzo as soon as I'm paid.
Monzo is completely crypto friendly, so you can buy the bitcoin you need with no issues from that account.
I used to regularly be locked out of my lloyds bank account and spend hours getting it unlocked, just cause I bought crypto. Now I use Monzo I've never had an issue.
for me then, I just opened a Monzo account and I've set up a standing order each month to shift my 'spending money' (£500) to Monzo as soon as I'm paid.
Monzo is completely crypto friendly, so you can buy the bitcoin you need with no issues from that account.

im in the same boat my bank dosnt let me buy crypto even tho i was told on the phone today from the bank its not so i have tryed 3 diffrent sites and everyone the same no go
Lloyds kept blocking my card to Bitpanda (🍆) but transfers go through no problem, very fast, no charges👍…twats!
I am Lloyd's but I use coinbase. Linked my card up to it. Minimal fees. Works for me? Is this an OK way to do it?
I guess. I use bitpanda but have never linked a card to it. Direct transfer works best for me, is quick and incurs no fees to load wallet…

Nah, unfortunately we all pay to send- that’s the miners blockchain fee!…it’s the big thing that has stopped btc being a true currency- who wants to pay a floating fee every time they buy something?! 🤔
