Give the flower time to burn, I also find making a fat joint compared to a slim one doesn't get me as high. Maybe cause the cherry is too big/hot so burns through the flower quicker

i've always enjoyed smoking a joint walking down the streets of my hum drum town. it breaths a little magic into the ordinary which abounds here. but during the lockdown i was forced to smoke in the garden instead and i realised that i've had it all wrong.
a spliff is to be slowly savoured, in my case slowly is about 5X longer than when i was sucking it down on the foot path. seems it doesn't even want to burn but rather stay with me for something longer term. it hard to tell though because time slows down relative to the walk.

Totally get this, I prefer smoking at home because like you say it’s a different experience, I travel a fair bit for work and end up doing what you do, going for a walk to get a smoke, yes you end up stoned in the hotel but it’s a rushed experience and not the same 🤟
A chilled spliff at home is the best. I hate having to "walk the dog" so to speak. Especially during cold winter evenings.
Can totally relate also. There were times where my missus wasn’t having me smoking in the house and my neighbours were being snide. So I could only smoke out walking the dog, was a pain in the arse and a total revelation when she mellowed out. Dog wasn’t happy mind you haha.

How Can I Stay High All the Time?
Cleaner = more sustainable. Smoking hash has to be the worst option. I would say CO2 extraction is the closest you are going to get.
Smaller = more sustainable. Discipline yourself into lightweightness.
Abstinence = definition. You need to not be high to know what high is. Only other option is to be numb 24/7 but for some folks that's the sustainable high.

It's easy enough. Just never stop. But also work your way up in strength throughout the day. Make sure each session is slightly stronger that the previous, and for that you need variety. But yeah, it can be done, just be careful not to let the weeks and years slip by, because that can also be easily done. It's not really too advisable, but it is totally possible. Oh yeah, also a good diet can really improve a person's quality of high.
it's not possible eventually you will be smoking to feel normal i know ( i smoked everyday for around 24 years). It's best to have a T-break evey now and then. I usually smoke an ounce then i'll have a week or two off , logest t-break i had was 2 years )it sucked) but at least when i came back to smoking i had to build up my tolorance again so smoking was pretty cheep ... now i blaze an ounce in like 3-5 days n have a break . I'd just smoke in the evenings but if its there i can't help my self XD...

Best practice is no waste. Smoke burning into the air is throwing away cannabis. Stems and sticks are not for the smoking but they can all be cooked in edibles.
True this, I have an old hippie friend that would smoke joints backwards only sipping on the smoke from the burning end.
Everyone's an expert, so here's two pennies' worth: buy the best quality you can afford and enjoy it until it runs out. When you can afford to buy again, buy again. This strategy is invariably better than endless shake or cheap commercial hash.
Seriously, hyper-economising ruins the fun. It doesn't make sense to spend half your high trying to mop up every crumb from your grinder, or in coughing fits because you absolutely must capture every last molecule of smoke out of your piece. As for drinking bong water...strep, black mildew, E.coli, proteus - to name a few.

The shake situation generally depends on the person. I myself don't get the effects from weed anymore as my tolerance is so high and I'm also not working atm. Shake is good for the fact it's still cheaper than buying a cheap oz of buds and will last longer. Not everyone smokes for the buzz my man

Back in the 90s a dude i knew hit the bong full of poppers and a tobacco/soap bar (crap hash) mix. Ripped it clean before he went green...
Get a magic flight launch box with a power adapter and batteries then learn how to use it well. No other way can make herbs last as long as this little baby. ( my first vape). You can also smoke eat or make butter with your leftovers its a win win situation. Bit for a J can last for hours in this little baby. The high builds gradually but can get you totaly baked if you so wish.
I have gone through this, the best way for me was to 'time' when I smoked, so not having money you need discipline, you can't smoke all day long, see this as a warning that you need to sort shit out! So when I went through a bad patch with money and work during covid I just waited until 5-6pm everyday before having a joint, and made them very weak, after 1-2 days you can get used to this as long as you defo wait until the evening (it will reduce your tolerance too), I found this worked out brilliant as I got stuff done during the day, studied and then had a few joints at night with a few Budweiser's job done! (Beer can help to fill a gap temporarily whilst you reduce your tolerance down to a smoking style you can afford) This will make you experience gratitude on another level and then when you do have the money again (which will happen very soon!) you will have a much better balance! I wish you the best and you will be back on your feet in no time, I think most of us go through this! use eagle bill shake and vape pipe it is a normal glass vape pipe use the opening as a bowl and when you run out it's collected so much THC rich oil on the glass forms VERY strong stuff you can heat as it's glass made to be heated from the glass bubble to the stem or using a little water to soften in up you can use paper clips straitened with a loop on the end to strip the pipe literally clean and gather the now thick dark/black deposit out and a gram of that lasts ages.

I have 2 really unappealing words to say so hear me out, don't judge. The 2 words are bong water. Do not drink of course, not directly. As part of a smoothie, yes. Shit works great and it's more than free its fucking recycling.
Careful, bong water liquid can quikly provide a potentially sickening "smoothie" as bacteria from various contaminents (few people are known to fadtidiously scrub the inside of the bong cylinder, even fewer are known for changing the water on a per-use basis. Also, i'm not so sure the solids you would be consuming are that pschoactive - thc is not soluble in H2O to my knowledge.

Any of you seen little things like this in your buds before? Looks like tiny wee sticks or something not just on the outside but pulling back outer sugar leaves and I find these 🤔
It's hard to tell but we used to get a lot seed casings (and seeds) in weed. It does just look like stalks though?
Looks like they might be nanners. Although they are quite small but that might be due to the grower seeing his plant was potentially about to hermie and pulling it early.

None of them are actually attached to the buds, it looks tiny little rectangles of stalk but no idea how this could happen. Kinda reminds me of sawdust without the dust, just the little chunks

Just today as i was filming in dog park after a nasty morning before the smoke.
Hadn't my breakfast not even a drink of any kind when i was met with terrible obstacles getting my day started with the first coffee in system and the doggo walked.
Had to return home and at that point after 9am decided to just wait in for postie with my medicine.
1st class with some white runtz (i got the last of it : (
Never does it cease to inspire, unlike the glue strain that you 'get things done on', this one takes you to dreamworld where you get to enjoy and partake in God's great creation.
So after the smoke we start filming, with cheers from the nature lovers and butterfly catchers, back home to edit, upload then breakfast time.

So I’m about 16-17 and parents are away me and my brother sharing the house passing like ships in the night grunttting hellos at each other. I was going out and there on the front step was a perfect rectangle of dark black squidgy hash (obviously my brothers or one of his mates) having no tobacco I had heard of eating hash with full fat stuff so I crumbled a bit unsure how much into a chocolate mouse. The night progressed I felt a little stoned watching TV . As tiredness swept me away I went to sleep queue a few hours later suddenly waking up in darkness with the detest mouth in the world. I went to stand up and fell over Id lost use of my legs and was seriously tripping out.
Tried a number of times to stand to no avail so crawled to the bathroom to drink water. Slowly came to a bit sitting on the bathroom floor and stood up and managed to get to the kitchen where I consumed as much sugarary things as I could. I came back to life enough to go back to bed but for some time I was completely confused and quite literally legless!!

Hey, I was just thinking why not use this community to see if anyone has any tips or questions when it comes to consuming cannabis.
I’ll get the ball rolling, one thing I like to do is buy some premium cannabis grind it up put it in the kief collector part. Then get some decent mid range bud grind it and smoke that throughout the week and when it comes to Saturday I smoke my premium kief coated bud that moooooooon.
Am pretty new to the dabbing experience so any tips for that would be appreciated!.

I see the cannabis community is divided in the grinder thing, tried to do a bit of research regarding it but just seemed to be stubborn arguments either side (especially on Reddit) which bored my ADHD 😂😂. I put my weed in some real butter, on the heat ‘bain marie’ style in glass cooking bowl over a pan of hot water. Simmered the mixture for about 15mins but didn’t boil it. Then made some cookies. No real scientific method. Had about 2g of weed and a regular shop bought packet mix for cookies. Definitely got higher off those bad boys than if i had just smoked the weed.
125g Butter
Kilner Jar
Slow Cooker
14g of shake or weed
Decarb the herb at 115 degrees C in an oven tray double covered with tinfoil for 30 minutes.
Put 125g of butter and about 2cm of water in the kilner jar and place on a flannel in the slow cooker half filled with water. Once melted, add your herb to the butter. Heat on high for 6 hours to infuse the butter. The water will simmer in the jar and nicely agitate the butter. Stir every hour.
Strain using cheesecloth into a bowl when still warm and runny. Allow to cool. Place in fridge to allow butter to set for 2 hours. Drain water off and you're done.
I make cookies around 20 cookies and dose at 20g a cookie. Baking and baked.
Enjoy.

It is very easy. Couldn’t tell you percentages though. Combine water and stick of butter in a pan (highest fat content possible), add your weed and bring to the boil. I personally would boil for at least an hour, but would be using more than 25g though. This will decarboxylate as well. Strain the weed through a filter cloth, squeeze as much liquid out as possible. You can save this and redo it, that will let you know if anything was left in there. Allow the pan to cool. The cannabutter will settle on the top and can be spooned off, the water will settle on the bottom and can be thrown away. You can redo the whole process using the cannabutter you just got with fresh weed to further increase the thc content of the butter. There is a saturation point where you can’t get any more thc dissolved in the butter. Good luck trying to get there. No reason it can’t be better than what you buy

Good afternoon!
I just wanted to make a post stressing the importance of having a little microscope when buying bud. I'm not talking a whole ass lab setup, more like a lil 20-40x amazon one that you can get for under 20 squid.
I've started noticing a lot of "cali lows" which are just sprayed hemp and there's always been dodgy UK here, there and everywhere. From lands end to John o groats, if there's a complete lack of regulation, there's probably a couple dodgy batches being passed around. I'd say that, compared to 10, even 5, years ago, we've made leaps and bounds in the weed game. This site alone is a huge example of that. ALSO I'm not saying all cali lows are bad, I'm just saying that I've sampled a couple bits recently and, having smoked a lot of cbd bud and grown and smoked a lot of thc bud, I'm very certain that the trichomes on both that I tried were those of CBD flower. Smaller trichome stalks and heads with a lot less of a "glimmering" quality, and sizeable globs of what looks like a clear/yellowy contaminant on the buds separate from the pesticides also present.
Please know what you're putting in your system! If you're shopping around a lot, have a look at different buds under a scope and get a feel for what THC should look like. Do the same with CBD flower if you happen to smoke that too. I'm not tryna make this post to scare anyone, because the chance is that the sprayed hemp isn't too bad for you. It's often just D8 or D9 distillate added. It's just very handy to have a little microscope to inspect what you're putting into your lungs and your brain.

Hell yea! It's a must when growing! I find that going on pistils and how fat the buds are alone can kinda skew things, but with a scope you really doobie eliminating the guess work
Yeah when 30/40% trichomes are orange you know 100% it's time. Mite take 8 weeks mite take 11 or 12
well said, this is such a needed post an it's also worth mentioning it's not just the bud, you can with a bit of practice do same process with with the so called higher quality hashes too.

Thank you for the reply and the kind words! Certainly agree with you on hashes, and considering a lot of farmers in places like Morocco leave the plants for up to 6 months before sifting for hash, a lot of dirt, sand and other contaminants from the environment end up in commercial plates. Even the higher quality ones look odd under the scope sometimes as you say.
Good call about the CBD sift, you can really see the difference in the trichomes compared to sifted THC. And def worth having around!

Do you (Flora?) or KiG have any specific recommendations? My microscopy skills are regularly tested vs QC and QA, but I've never used a tiny one to look at weed, and I'm intrigued.

I don't think any acid I've ever taken (which is a lot tbh) has made me feel as insane, scared and physically fked up as having eaten too much cannabis! I'll never ever forget the first time I made a mistake with dosage. It was April 2002 (been smoking since 1994!), on a sunday night after having a few beers down my local. Went back to a mates and he'd cooked a whole ounce of hash into brownies, which got gobbled up. by about 8 of us, so yeh, presumably (and this is if it was all equal doses which it prob wasn't!) an 8th each...
Whoops. I stayed at my friends for a couple of hours and everything was fine, started giggling uncontrollably for a bit and then realised it was pretty late so i'd better get a taxi home to my parents house where I was staying as it was easter uni holidays. Taxi ride was fine, bit pissed and stoned, dropped other friends off, still fine. Got home and was really hungry so I made a sandwich and went up to bed. As soon as I took the first bite my mouth went dryer than the sahara and my throat closed up to the point where I had to spit it out cos I was gagging. Nothing made this feeling better, no amount of water or juice or anything. this situation had now made me feel super paranoid, and I started to feel what can only be described as a rocket taking off in my body. All my limbs were buzzing and shaking and twitching, my heart was going faster than I believed it ever had, my head was full of terrible thoughts. Naturally I believed I was having a heart attack. I sat on my parents toilet for about an hour trying to calm down but it was no good. After about 2-hours of this I decided I had to leave the house, maybe I could walk to the 24 hour garage and get something nice to drink. Only instead of going the way that the 24 was, in my madness I'd walked to a Ford dealership garage which obvs was shut and even if it wasn't they wouldn't have been able to sell me liquid! So i realised I'd done this and then freaked out more, which made my throat and mouth dry up to a whole new level of hell wretching and the only thing I could think to do to relieve this was pick leaves off a bush that had rainwater on and suck them. Then I called my then GF (who'd also had some of the brownies) and told her I thought I was dying and that I would be found by the side of the road in the morning and that i loved her! She just mumbled about just going home and I'd be OK but I was convinced by this point I was dying! Managed to get home somehow and just had to ride it out for hours (into the late monday morning!). I didn't eat weed again for years. Was so scary. I almost got to the same level of scariness again a couple of years ago when I misjudged the strength of some already vaped weed in some cookies I made, felt like my personality had split into two people...anyway, wasnt quite as bad as that awful fkin night in 2002!

Not an edible exactly - Bombay International Airport as it was named then, I had a 10 hour wait for my flight to the UK so thought it’d be a good idea to eat the last of my charas that I had bought in town so as not to have to bin it. I started tripping hard after an hour. Sat on the terminal floor with my bag for the next 8 hours glued to the spot too scared to move. my mum left my dad when I was 15 and moved in with her sister and my cousin. The next year I went to stay in school hols. Mum and her sister both worked full time. My cousin, who was a couple of years older than me, was a drummer in a band.
He had access to huge quantities of dope (this was around 1971/72). When he wasn't out at rehearsals me and him would sit around getting stoned.
One day he came back with a large score of squidgy brown hash. He suggested we eat it, something I'd never done before. We made of all things, bread and milk (full fat). Probably didn't know how to cook anything else!
We chowed down with the hash and then.....nothing happened. For a long time. I was disappointed until my mum and aunt got home from work when of course it hit. It hit BIG time. There followed one of those terrible situations where you are baked out of your gourd but the people you're interacting with can't know that. So you're spaced out while putting on a performance of what you think is "normal" behaviour. If my mum twigged she never said, but she must have thought I was acting well weird!
Was my worst experience until the time my dad came home early and I was tripping on acid. Jeez, one of the things I like about this site is the way it makes me remember stuff like that.
He had access to huge quantities of dope (this was around 1971/72). When he wasn't out at rehearsals me and him would sit around getting stoned.
One day he came back with a large score of squidgy brown hash. He suggested we eat it, something I'd never done before. We made of all things, bread and milk (full fat). Probably didn't know how to cook anything else!
We chowed down with the hash and then.....nothing happened. For a long time. I was disappointed until my mum and aunt got home from work when of course it hit. It hit BIG time. There followed one of those terrible situations where you are baked out of your gourd but the people you're interacting with can't know that. So you're spaced out while putting on a performance of what you think is "normal" behaviour. If my mum twigged she never said, but she must have thought I was acting well weird!

Last year i had to go to Mexico with work and I decided to drop a couple of MJs shatter gummies. Unfortunately I dropped two x 50mg rather than the 25grams before I got on the plane. Had just got seated in economy when I started coming up fast and hard and then realised something was wrong. Luckily I managed to talk to one of the stewedess and paid for an upgrade to business before I turned into a jibbering wreck. Made some brownies last year that were pretty loaded shall we say. Anyway later that night I woke up thirsty so went to the kitchen for a drink. I spotted the brownies on the side and preceeded to tuck into em as if they were normal ones, demolished 3 of em and went back to bed. Few hours later I woke up to what I can say was the worst panic attack feeling ever!!!! Heart racing, sweating, short of breath. Kept telling myself to go back to sleep but everything went Batshit when I closed my eyes. Wont make that mistake ever again 🤯🤯🤯
When I was young my mates would come over to my house and hang out in mine and my brother's bedroom for evening bonging sessions. We would always have some music on the stereo, usually Pink Floyd, but this one night while stoned there was a knock on the door which made us a bit paranoid as we weren't expecting anyone. So we ignored it. Next thing a voice came through on the stereo speakers saying the lights are on but nobody's answering the door. When we heard this we all went into panic mode thinking it was a police raid and their radio commnuication had come through the stereo speakers somehow. The lad who's hash it was swallowed what was left of it, about an eighth, and flushed the mull down the toilet. He was proper green and puking up afterwards, lying on the bathroom floor not being able to move, but the funny thing was it wasn't the police but a taxi driver that had come to the wrong house 😆

Edibles should be predictable and correctly dosed, then you know what your getting yourself in for!

2002. Grated a q of not great hash. Melted in butter for a bit and mixed in with yogurt. Split with my housemate. Disgusting.

A friends mum wanted to try an edible as she doesn’t smoke so she tried a corner of some cookies I made and was off her rocker for 4+ hours saying the room was spinning and uncontrollable laughter, which I found quite amusing.
I could eat many and not get close to that state you forget not everybody has a high tolerance🤣
She has never tried edibles since and I feel partially to blame that she had a ‘negative’ experience but she couldn’t of eaten more than 10mg at most so I’m not sure if they are for her anyway😅

What I feed my brain is up to me and any employer or government that is dumb enough to look at this instead of my work and deeds is less qualified than I am.
I used to work for sales in a major brewing business starting in the late 80's and drinking at work was a huge part of the culture. We had replica pub bars in all our offices that were fully stocked and free all hours. We were expected to get out in the trade and drink with our customers. We would entertain around the world with massive drinking sessions, often with visits to breweries. Our sales meetings didn't just end in a pub they often started in a pub! Despite having company cars we had taxi and expense accounts to get us home or to a hotel when we couldn't even see to drive.The rationale was- "well we ain't selling candy!"....
But none of that was ever accepted as an excuse not to do a great job, and thats what you were measured on. If you didn't you were instant toast.
Oh boy how times have changed....absolutely zero of that happens today....

I’d never used canabis before getting my script so have little experience. I kept reading on Reddit how BMis way better so found this site to try, not to mention nearly every strain is indica with my clinic so iv been able to go straight for what looks like a good sativa in tropical runtz . Curious if anyone else has a script or am I the only idiot here buying illicit drugs when iv got a perfectly good clinic all be it with what im told is dog shit weed

I'm just a regular old pot head not officially for medical, although I have though about it recently,I'm curious to know how much it cost to go legit, all the fees rather than the cost of the bud itself if anyone can tell me.
Fees vary, mine initial £150, then 50 or 75 a pop for the 1 month and 3 month.

The better strains are up there with some of the offerings on here imo mate.
There are average ones that do the job with moderate terps, then a few in the top tiers that for me have been burning, tasting and medicating me as good as some of the top end stuff on here.
Good thing with medical has to be within certain range of claim of thc on content. So usually a strong one does medicate you well, even if not a super terpy number.
Glad I did tbh mate, now I know a few to go for and can usually spot a winner.
Delivery is always NDD too 😂

He was not the master of cheese in UK - He did get a cut of exodus cheese not even the best cut. then crossed it with an old afghani skunk . which never worked out too well so he crossed it with a blues. midlands/shefff/brum blues. Then UK was flooded with blue cheese. There's not many ppl smoked true exodus from 89. It was nothing like a cheese of mid 90;s to now is. - So every ones perception of cheese is what they smoked or got at the time to claim "this is cheese" - the real exo cheese has lots of different "cuts" - "suicidal cut" which was so strong you just wanted to die after it - heavy sleeper. memory loss. The OG Cheese from Exo crew was strain "Psychosis" which was a mutant NL 5 but it was like a stinky skunk cheese. but yeh sad news. Hopefully he's in a better dimension. There was still ppl pushng the real cuts of exo cheese like "Sonic" and Lady Sativa aka Jah Hoover.

Yeah, bloody hell. When I heard I was shocked to say the least. Big Buddha had and still has a lot of influence in the UK cannascene. A lot of people were first introduced to weed through a strain he bred. The big Buddha cheese was everywhere in the Midlands until the dawg wave and it'll always have a special place in my heart. It's such a sudden and unexpected thing to happen and my thoughts go out to his nearest and dearest.

Sad news. Also had the pleasure of meeting this legend at a convention many moons ago, and fond memories smoking his strains in the UK and Amsterdam! Did a lot for the weed scene and a genuinely nice guy. RiP
No way very sad news😢😢 RIP the Big Buddha . I met him once in the first Amsterdam cup that cheese was entered bk in 2000s, really nice guy from the West Midlands we talked shit about weed for 20 minutes and had a laugh blazing the cheese on a big box vape machine with a hose pipe coming from it lol and my mate bought some seeds back then the cheese smelt like real cheese 🧀 a genuinely decent sound guy RIP big man🫶
Sad times I still chase the flavour of the original cheese the closest I can get is an exodus cut near me and it's just not the same thing as the original clone only that was real special

When a strain is mosty described by the 'Relaxed' effect you must beware this could be mostly a relaxed state of being and not much more.
The biscotti for me is mostly 'heavy' and a little appetite boost, the LCG for me is mostly relaxed and a little tingly.
Now when it comes to the relaxed effect it's not to be appreciated in all occasions, best to switch off the big screen if you're in-doors, be in a totally tranquil environment, enjoy the silence, the relaxed stone works best at night.
I've just my phone on lock screen with it playing a podcast and a little light, brings on the relaxed effect, which is the point of this post.
The relaxed effect may not be the most exciting however if you work with it, switch off the noise and bright lights and relax for a minute you'll learn the true meaning of the word.
As i once was into salvia i know about being in the dark and silence to appreciate a trip, and this is the same, learn to boost the relaxation affect by making your surroundings in-line and at peace. The stillness is incredible and imo is only obtainable with primarily 'relaxed' strains.

Nice write up. My mrs can't get enough of the Sensi LCG carts, your description of the effects pretty much matches how she describes it. She always has a few post-work hits to relax.
I agree about nurturing the effects and sometimes you'll find that magic strain where the best thing you can do is nothing at all. For me, Mango Kush was fantastic for meditation, which is a far cry from the usual socialising, playing video games, eating everything etc.. Sometimes it can be a default mechanism for us to distract ourselves when we're high but if you can allow the space, the strain can tell you what needs to be done - if anything. Thanks for sharing

Interesting study, although worth pointing out that it concludes that CBD alone may be responsible for the antitumor effect (as opposed to the whole plant).

Found this on YouTube thought I'd share it on here.
I watched a documentary just before this one where the guy recons 80% of the entire drug trade in London is controlled by the Albanian mafia, which are also mentioned in this video so I can only assume the same thing is happening over here that is happening in Germany.
From my point of view it seems fairly obvious with some people talking about weed that "melts your face off" and "knocked me out cold" etc. I'm not sure when any cannabis was supposed to have that effect, but its certainly not what I want to eaperience when smoking, even if it is just a figure of speech.
At one point in the video he states that the only way to stop this synthetic cannabis polluting weed is to legalise it, and regulate its production, which i can see the sense in, but if we accept that legalisation (in the UK) isn't going to happen any time soon, surely the only other way would be to make testing kits available that simply show the presence of synthetic cannabis.
Decent cannabis testing kits are still prohibitively expensive, but they tend to focus more on THC percentages etc, rather than just simply testing for synthetics (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here). My thoughts are that if you could get a reusable testing kit for say under £50, that just tested for synthetic cannabis, everyone would buy one.
Perhaps they could even be free on the NHS? It would certainly avoid the much higher cost of dealing with people who has been smoking this poison and end up in hospital for one reason or another.
Test Borg and other testing setups on here do a fantastic job, don't get me wrong, but if someone is selling this shite they could just send weed they know isn't contaminated to be tested, then sell the contaminated shit once the results are in. It's too easily manipulated unless it's the customer sending the weed in to test.

Decriminalisation is key. If we legalise it fully then it will be ruined by big corporations who would turn our passion into profit. I’m off to Tenerife next month to see how they’re handling the situation because, I may have found a loop hole in our laws that might allow us to consume cannabis on private property. Stay tuned.
