When do you have it mate timing wise and what would you consider a drop?

Something kind of lentil sized works for me, about an hour before bed. Good for 6 hours I find.

What you seem to be describing is anxiety/nerves keeping you awake. If you are feeling anxious then smoking or consuming anything too high grade may not help as it can intensify any anxiety. Any strong edibles or concentrates will make you pretty high for a few hours and not sleepy for quite a while - or at least that's how it is for me. Try consuming a brownie or similar earlier in the afternoon then having a smoke of something with more balanced cbd-thc, not too strong. Watch a film or better read a book and it usually distracts your mind enough for the drugs and your bodys natural clock to take control of your eye lids. It's hard but try to avoid thinking about the event. Train your mind slowly. I've suffered a lot with anxiety and keeping busy, as in active physically and mentally throughout the day and setting out a chill out routine with distractions for the evening works for me. If you can try to have less intoxicants on the night before the event as they don't see you through the night and the minute your levels and blood sugars change you become easily woken and restless and your worried mind takes over. Failing that there are prescription meds of various forms that if taken on a very infrequent basis may not have a downside or any addiction issues but it's not my first choice. Although I have tried this route and it did work even when I was totally frantic with anxiety. Sorry for the long post but sleep has been an issue all my life and the reason I fell in love with Mary Jane. Hope you get it nailed. I've found not giving a shit about anything much these days helps too ; -) Peace.

You are so right about the booze. I’m a drinker and know that the 4-5am slot is known as “the drinker’s hour” as your blood sugar level drops and your heart race increases. A bag of M&M’s at bedtime could help a bit in the old days, but now I rarely drink after 8pm.
Low dose (0.25mg) Xanax is brilliant for night time anxiety and if I take at least 4 hours before I need to get up then I feel very refreshed in the mornings. The problem with Xanax is the speed at which you build up tolerance but if you limit it to once or twice a week it’s great imo, and just knowing that you’ve got it in reserve relieves anxiety on its own!

agree with this im a medical professional and xanax works well once or twice but the bodies natural ability to resist it is great so addiction can happen quite easily but polys advice on low dose is perfect!

Hey, this probably sounds really boring compared to finding an awesome new strain haha but have you tried out any CBD products?
I know someone who gets the pre match nerves thing but increasing CBD intake really seems to help calm it all down. Good luck in finding something man.

I think part of the problem is we all experience products in different ways. For example I was told RSO is great for sleep but it has the opposite effect on me. Edibles generally buzz me up, as do a lot of hazes etc.
That leaves indicas and through many many strains tried when I find one that seems to deliver a great nights sleep I’ll have it another time and not so much. The 100% indicas like Hindu Kush & Heirloom OG work best for me, but interested in what other Biggas think….

Yeah I’m an indica guy and Super Hans Hindu Kush was lovely for relaxing and then sleeping. Hashisins Afghan is equally as good.

Sounds like you might put too much pressure on yourself to perform well maybe? I have struggled with that over the years - I simply don't want to let myself down or other people. It's just down to the values you have as a person. Keep up with the exercise though it has always helped me get some quality sleep.

Weed recommendation: RB was doing some cheap Kerosene Krash about a month ago and really hit the spot for me before bed. 80% Indica. I'd be falling asleep before I was actually trying. I find sativas late evening are just too much of a head buzz and my mind doesn't settle down.

I have also experimented with CBD - pre made eliquids, homemade carts from cbd extracts and I have tried some cbd weed on here but I found it to have no effect on my sleep at all.

I hope you find something that works for you from all of these suggestions on here though buddy

You’re absolutely right brother, wayyy too much pressure on myself and then runs into worrying about how much sleep I get to aid my performance the next day! I’ll keep plugging away at a decent solution, thanks for taking the time man 🤙🏼

RSO works wonders for me. I can usually fall asleep fine, but, especially if dealing with work stress, often wake up 4,5 or 6 am with a racing mind and can't get back to sleep. RSO (I use the one sold by Drugs Inc UK) consistently gives me around 9-10 hours of decent sleep each time I use it. It does hang around (pleasantly so) the following morning though, so not great if you need to function.

My other - non cannabis - trick is a long soak in a bath with magnesium flakes (zechstein are the best) before bed.

Magnesium is excellent as a sleep aid, and if you add some decent bath oils designed for relaxation (Olverum is lovely, and Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax always knocks me out) then sleep comes easy. Even just a few drops of Clary Sage essential oil in a bath or on your pillow can help - its great to calm down anxiety/stress etc.

Grab any concentrate from the likes of ULC or Canadian imports take a couple of nice dabs on the device of choice, pick something you like the flavour of and don't worry about indica/sativa stuff

I like to get some of The Goods CBD shatter which is made in Italy which has some proper terpenes (I’ve got a Brexit one which has the Trainwreck strain and another couch lock strain) they are very cheap online with lots of different flavours and consistencies from Other brands too 😋

I have some of that in the Puffco Peak Pro or Puffco Proxy electronic dab devices on its own or I mix that with another concentrate from on here 😊

I either have the CBD shatter on its own or mix in some other concentrate from here just before bed and that works well and saves your concentrate and money as you are using less of the proper one 😊

a light edible dose also works well or a bit or RSO is also great and its all about trialing different methods to see what works for you 😊

Also there are lots of amino acids that you can buy on Amazon such as L-Theanine, L-Tryptophan and others which help with sleep and also with racing thoughts and stress which prevents sleep 😊 I also practice mindfulness too which is great for clearing the mind for better sleep 💤

always avoid caffeine in the day before the sleep works wonders for me!

The ‘melts’ and sguidgy blacks work easy, harder hashes need to be teased with a lighter before building the sandwich, but yep hash works great when you crank up the temp👍

Shatter works really well, I hold it between my thumb and finger until it’s really thin and about the same circumference as a Mighty dosing capsule and it vapes for ages with decent clouds too ✌🏻 Think I’ll try some hash though, used to love it back in my younger years! It’s a tactic to sell inferior products under the umbrella of a good listing in my opinion, I tend to avoid these type of listings now

Exactly this mate, it's a pretty shameless tactic imo and it's becoming increasingly common in a pretty short period of time, it's a big red flag for me, there are plenty of other vendors on here with much much better menu's / prices / everything

i can understand it's incredibly laborious to do anything on this site sometimes with the long loading times, generally poor layout of everything and no stock counter, but it really does only take a couple minutes at most to create and list a new item

terribly unprofessional and disingenuous, not only that but anyone with a modicum of sense can see why you would want to use an old rating to help sell a new batch or strain! vendors who do this are blacklisted for me personally, just look at the absurd amount of choice and competition on here, why even risk ordering from some dodgy listing that isn't even the strain in the picture when you can just order from one of the giga professional top vendors who have very clear and presentable menu's that are also often priced much better, clearer and usually a wider choice of products too!

Why the fuck were you using Coinbase for anyways? There’s a tonne of exchanges out there that arn’t the governments bitch and tool for spying, Coinbase is and always has been the anti thesis of crypto currency. Also you should have been buying BTC on there and sending to a wallet like Exodus trust wallet etc and sending to the vendor from there, don’t send directly from the exchange to protect all parties.

Afaik Coinbase is working alongside LE to crack down on drug transactions, binance recently suspended a account just because it had $1 million+ in crypto in the account because LE told them to. The future of crypto on brokers isn’t looking good.

Exactly the same thing happened to me and my other half, which we only discovered this morning as we tried putting our usual order in. Frantic scramble to register and get validated by another crypto thingy in time for a postal cut off. I was raging AND fuming. Joined Coinmama and my partner Bittylicious without too much trouble but the tension waiting was unbearable. You can imagine.

Pain in the arse mate, I’ve just gone with Coinjar now but read that Coinbase have the means to check where funds are sent to, but not sure how that’d make a difference! I’ve never done anything shady with my account, pretty strange man.

I use cex.io exchange, registered in the British Virgin Islands, to purchase crypto. They have one of the most secure exchanges, fees are fairly low, and user interface is intuitive. Unfortunately, KYC info required to set up an account. They have a large presence in Europe too. I am in the US, and Coinbase has come under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for such unsavory business practices. Coinbase is not a very secure platform either. I left btc on their exchange for trading last year, and my account was hacked and subsequently drained, even after I froze my account. Lost 5KUSD. I contacted them 4 times about this, but CB never responded. Finally had to join a class action lawsuit against CB where others had the exact same thing happen to them. Their security and customer service is way below the standards set by cex.io. I receive no affiliate money from my advice; motivated only in protecting buyers from a shady exchange.

But... importing my own bit of bud all the way from the other side of the planet? in the world we live in? bud I could be buying locally from UK growers, UK suppliers (and despite what the internet says UK weed just as good as anywhere else!).... simple fact is though you shouldn't be able to fly in an ounce of weed all the way from Canada for HALF the price of weed from within the UK, it makes no sense. At all.

Prices on here need to correct in the long run. As I said I love everything BCA are doing, they've gone about in such a refreshing way it fits in well with weed culture and the bud is hopefully absolutely banging but I'd rather not have to rely on people 4000+miles away for my smoke.

I dont know if it's the same for you, but local weed is £180-200 an oz. Im not seeing this as a "cheap" option...especially when $200 is for a lower grade oz .... I like their grading system. It works well. Even the way they have listed looks/works great this time around. Their wall is pretty to say the least. I've just put up a post on my own page about the strains i got through in august...pretty much explains my reasons for being on LB and ounces isn't it. Drop to 14g and I'm in!! 4sho!

Unfortunately they have now been blocked from trading any further and its difficult to fathom why.
So many people questioned their integrity and suggested people would be ripped off, but its difficult to see why, as they were responsive to any questions and though it took a while for things to drop, they were all coming through as described.

I guess I should trust that the 'biggy bots' know whats best for the site, and maybe their was a genuine fear that they might attract undue attention? Why ever the page was blocked, it might have been better to let customers still be able to contact them, as obviously several people will have orders they are waiting for and they will now be worried their order will not be full filled - and if BCA cant get their escrow funds I cant imagine they will ship the goods.

I guess the Canadian effect will be zero, and I cant help feeling this has somehow been orchestrated by vendors who didn't want the competition, but I'm only guessing and I suppose we will never know.

I buy my bud elsewhere anyway (biggy too expensive for me, for bud), and I've managed to maintain contact with them too, so I guess its no problem for me, but the whole way this has happened seems pretty underhanded and unfair, and I just hope that by shutting them down as they have, they have not stopped too many from trying what was fantastic bud at excellent prices.

The cleanup borg just said they've been trying to go off site to avoid transaxe and that they'd been warned about it several times... that doesn't sound good to be honest although those warning messages can pop up for no reason at all!

I can only speak from my own experiences, but the efforts to get them removed appear to have been under way for some time and I was not approached to go elsewhere despite having a decent chat with em. Now that their page has been removed I have made contact elsewhere, but till last night it was all about biggy.

Something smells fishy, but I guess we will never know the whole story :)
