Time to stop killing myself with tobacco, i've reached a point where i despise the stuff and what i know it's been doing to my overall physical and mental health, 18 years smoking weed and tobacco daily without fail
i don't smoke fags or rollups, just a bit of tobacco in joints, i only roll single skinners too, smoke anything between 4-8 a day, takes 2 weeks to get through a 30g pouch of cutters choice (minus the 3-4g of unsmokeable dust they include in pouches now)
but here's the problem, i don't enjoy pure joints at all and i know i can't afford to just smoke pure joints
so my only real option is a dry herb vape, but i'm so clueless about them and just not in the right headspace at the moment to go through the absolute mountain of anecdotal reviews and such before making a somewhat informed choice on a purchase, one of the main reasons for my lack of enthusiasm to research into the vapes is the high price point, surviving is difficult enough as it is and i certainly cannot afford to throw away money on vapes that i may or may not end up getting my moneys worth from

Just bought the yokan vane vape,not bad for a introduction to dry herb vaping you can taste the flavour more.i smoke joints Just bud and hash no baccy. Good luck mate

so when it comes to my normal usage etc, it always averages at about 1G of weed per day and about 0.3G of hash, tiny sprinkling on each joint, i might add that i've just not been enjoying joints without hash in anymore, and i think this is why i know it's time to change something, if i can't enjoy a nice single skinner without hash, even if the weed is banging, then something has gotta change!

Have you tried bongs/pipes yet? If spaced out correctly youβd only need to smoke 1g maybe 2g a day with out any cigarettes (have a bong hit then wait till the high fully wears off then repeat), it may be very harsh on your throat and make you cough for a while which may help you cut down a lot too due to always being sceptical about a coughing fit, a good bong with a percolator can reduce that harshness, you could also get a dab rig and just do those instead or get a magic butter machine and make your own canna butter from trim and substitute it for regular butter to reduce inhaled THC so that way you can continuing smoking your spliffs, or even just replace the tobacco with a hemp/sugar leaf/trim alternative. If youβve already tried what Iβve suggested maybe go down the edibles/oil/concentrate/RSO route, hope that helps a bit

yeah you nailed it it's absolutely about finding the right vape for you, and that can be very very expensive and time consuming, but your post is filled with reassurance especially the part about coming from a slow gentle spliff style, and the fact that you don't miss combustion one bit after 3+ years, i need to get on your level!

Bongs are probably the cleanest way to combust it's just a water filter I don't know where you have got the "dirty" impression from lol especially when baccy joints are the rankest way to smoke - obviously everyone is different there's no right or wrong answers and if you've decided against bongs fair enough but I don't get where your impression of bongs has come from - obviously you do need to empty the water at the end of the night and refill it the next day but thats less work than rolling joints!
Anyway that's not the important bit good luck with quitting mate, it's definitely doable whatever route you go! In reference to my recent topic on pricing and conversion rates, the initiative borg was last online 18 days ago, lol! i'm glad we aren't waiting for them to make any changes in a hurry!
Luckily, as a result of this recent topic / discussion, i've seen a MASSIVE reduction in prices all across the board on all items with all vendors, so I just wanted to give a MASSIVE THANK YOU, SERIOUSLY MASSIVE!!! to all the biggas, especially the vendors for taking the initiative with this, whatever i say is never going to be enough of a thank you for how many people you've helped with this! even the 1 or 2 biggas in that topic who were somehow against more stable pricing for all of us, even they have benefited massively as a result from that topic, maybe now they can understand how much we needed a change on here :)
and since it's looking like we aren't going to be getting any changes from the borgs in terms of currency to help with stability, i guess the next best thing we can do is, as a community, make sure things never get out of hand and we should all keep on top of the conversion rate and keep things in check with prices, for the benefit of everyone!
In reference to my recent topic on pricing and conversion rates, the initiative borg was last online 18 days ago, lol! i'm glad we aren't waiting for them to make any changes in a hurry!
Luckily, as a result of this recent topic / discussion, i've seen a MASSIVE reduction in prices all across the board on all items with all vendors, so I just wanted to give a MASSIVE THANK YOU, SERIOUSLY MASSIVE!!! to all the biggas, especially the vendors for taking the initiative with this, whatever i say is never going to be enough of a thank you for how many people you've helped with this! even the 1 or 2 biggas in that topic who were somehow against more stable pricing for all of us, even they have benefited massively as a result from that topic, maybe now they can understand how much we needed a change on here :)
and since it's looking like we aren't going to be getting any changes from the borgs in terms of currency to help with stability, i guess the next best thing we can do is, as a community, make sure things never get out of hand and we should all keep on top of the conversion rate and keep things in check with prices, for the benefit of everyone!

But the vendors who pay for stock/shipping/packaging/general living expenses in sterling still have to convert so are also getting less pounds for the dollar so they would be worse off if they lowered the price, unless they buy from American.

Also I think alot of folf think the price of BTC is going to recover alot quickly than in my opionion and alot of professional experts will take alot longer and is more likely to drop to $10,000 than rise to $60.000 by Dec. So add that into the pot and its more possible with all the economic factors in play that a lot of vendors will be wiped out if they do not take this seriously. Whilst i'm 100% backing the posties with this strike, they deserve to be paid a considerably higher wage imo, more than politicians anyway! posties literally kept me alive during the lockdowns, along with some vendors on here :)

To move CBD through DPD takes special permission from the company. So either it would have to be super stealth at all times or someone takes the risk to find a "cool" boss at DPD and be honest about the packages, which would obviously bring it's own problems. Probs best to just wait it out, or start an LB motorbike courier service
i've done courier work and i'm curious what would same day delivery be worth per delivery?
DPD deliver medical cannabis on a daily basis to thousands of patients in the U.K. How would they get word of it?

Sadly I don't think a lot on here realise how much both vendors and customers are being shafted by the conversion.
I think we need *every* currency here and as a European changing to Β£ would suck worse. at least the $ is a standard for the world if you are only going to have 1.

just a quick tidbit, but transaxe, LB's payment processor, works in BTC not Β£ or $, and the fees are a fixed percentage, so i cannot see a reason for this change not to be implemented ASAP

dollars is just a denomination, anyway you slice it the sellers will need to explicitly lower their prices if buyers are going to realise any gain here.
it's not just a denomination, prices on here are incredibly rarely / not at all adjusted to the constantly changing exchange rate of dollars to pounds, leading to inherent and frankly unnecessary instability for everyone along with the added instability of bitcoin, it's a lose lose situation, since the vast majority of the buyers on here will have Β£'s in their bank account, not $'s

Sounds like they need to get on top of it before somebody else dives in and a creates a modern lb type platform with all of the good features and things we wish for here. I can't be too critical of lb though. They are my only platform for buying my medicine. I don't know any real life dealers as I was late to the weed game and none of my friends partake. We all want everything cheaper in life and ultimately somebody usually loses out but this currency change we are after is a win for all three parties involved, vendors, customers and lb devs.

Vendor uploads new item and wants to sell it for Β£10.
The exchange rate is Β£1 = $0.50.
Vendor sets a price of $20.
Pound weakens and now Β£1 = $1.
This means the vendor has to change the price or the buyer has to pay more for the same thing.
As vendors usually sell more than 1 item and the value of the Β£ is changing so rapidly, it either costs the vendors lots of time to keep the prices accurate or lots of money in lost sales because people don't buy due to increase in price.

not having any luck this year finding smoke thats genuinely clean, everything even at the top of the price range, even from my regulars im getting stuff that pops and bangs with dark ash and sometimes its near enough flame proof, trust is being pushed beyond its limits at this point

maybe partly down to me being let down with the overall quality on here so frequently, it makes me nervous dropping below the $60 an 8th price bracket as i will usually spend a lot more than that and still be let down, so spending less than $60 for better quality seems too good to be true but only one way to find out :)

i've messaged escrow suisse for a refund, they haven't been online in 5 days...

You are right, you should get a quick reply from escrow and it is unusual not to.
They are the law here, there is nowhere else to go. Take some assurance from the LB track record, there is no obvious reason why your dispute wonβt be resolved in due course.

it's crazy right? with the amount of money pumping through this site i would say logging in once daily is the absolute bare minimum lol
anyway had a message from escrow 14 hours ago saying "have you hit the dispute button?" thats all they said... which is strange as i had mentioned in my original message to them that i have disputed the order.... and now i haven't heard a thing since 14 hours ago guess i just have to sit and wait again whilst my btc loses value :)

got some bud a few days ago that looks decent, and initially on opening the pack i was very happy, some of the loudest weed i've had for ages it was absolutely stinking the whole house out straight out the pack, initially i thought this amount of terps was strange for how overly dry the weed was!

Rinsed weed is the latest way they've found to ruin green.. sounds like it's either bang average low THC with artificially added terpenes for the taste and smell - for example all these vague hazes especially from holland - or another one is to spray green that's already been drained of its THC through extraction. Best case scenario there you're looking at sand, glass, silica etc worst case artificial cannabinoids are effectively spice. Saw you posting about one of the various new faces popping up here I'd shop wisely and stick with trusted OGs, can't even buy weed without suspicion these days. Seen this in London about 10 years back and seen 2 different ones in NI in the last year so you're not the only one mate

just linking this again to get as many eyes on it as possible as this very simple change needs implementing asap, i order on here a couple times a week and im beyond fed up with the layout of this item wall now! will make everyones lives better and save everyone a bunch of time, and on top of that i have no doubt it will increase sales overall by quite a lot!

The items list is a little lacking just now, but keep an eye on MJ's, Drugs Inc, and Rb's store. They usually stock them. You could also try Premium Extracts. Oh and keep an eye on TGT's store, they might have some listed in the future.

Managed to grab some of the Blue Gelato and itβs caked up - a strong stone for sure. Just lacking those amazing 41 flavours but priced very fair! I have paid more for a lesser quality stone on LB.

definitely a strong stone, i've got the tolerance of a fucking boulder but that gelato sent me to bed 2 hours early the night he dropped it off lol, also agree i've paid a hefty amount more for a lower quality stone plenty of times on here!

using Exodus wallet for years now hundreds of orders, i paid for something about an hour ago no problems, just went to order something else a good half an hour later and it's just constantly coming up with this message "your wallet lost connection with the blockchain please refresh and try again" well i'm on my 1000th refresh now and it's still not letting me send the payment, definitely enough funds in there etc, first time ever having this problem! very annoying as the 30 minute window for sending has now ended and i'm unsure if i have to cancel the order etc!

Don’t worry too much about the 30 minute window. As I understand it, it works more as a price hold than a deadline. Orders delayed in the chain will still be valid (although it may possibly show “part paid” if the price has gone against you)...

Are you setting it with a reasonable fee? Sometimes if its to low the payment wont broadcast. I've ran into something similar with a different wallet and that was the case.

i didn't set it with a decent fee as up till now i've never had any issues with sending 2/3 transactions a week on the minimum fee but i think i figured it out, basically the wallet lies to you and says i'll have 60p left in my wallet after the transaction, but actually that 60p is usually taken as a fee from exodus without them actually saying anything, so turns out if you haven't got at least a quid left in your wallet after paying the network fee then you can't send the payment! as it doesn't leave them enough headroom to take their literal hidden fee... bloody madness if you ask me!

Ah right, these companies who run the wallets are very sneaky at times. I'm glad you got it sorted, bitcoin is a nightmare as it is without things like this making it harder! Have a great night :)
daily reminder that literally every person using this site wether it be buyers or sellers are demanding the use of a more stable crypto currency, at this point bitcoin fees are way beyond reasonable and the price is just too unstable!
Surely the powers that be on LB recognise this and are noticing less transactions through the site, absolutely everyone will benefit from a change to a more suitable form of crypto, still waiting on some form of response from one of the borgs considering this issue has been raised at least a hundred times now, and often raised by vendors too!

oh bloody hell finally that's the first bit of positive news i've heard relating to this lol! but yeah litecoin couldn't arrive any sooner on here! with each week that goes by we all literally piss money into thin air when dealing with these absurd BTC fees, it's punishingly depressing when you actually think about how much BTC has just gone from your wallet into thin air, worse than bloody VAT lol

it's only depressing if you didn't hold a little bitcoin. i put in a couple hundred quid last year and it's all i needed for 6 100USD orders over the last year.
that said i really think the bitcoin miners like the way things are. the protocol needs more decentralisation hard coded in and i can't see how a cartel like bitcoin will do this quickly.

Second time ordering this loose cali, thought i'd put a picture up of this gelato jet fuel from RB since i couldnt find a picture of it, and i know for some people (me included) having a current photo of a batch means quite a lot when deciding what to spend your ££ on! and i know RB is having trouble getting images to work at the moment!!
out of the 5 or 6 different types of gelato i've tried this tops the lot, smokes like an absolute dream, its got that very distinct creamy gelato taste and smell, very unique, if you like gelato you will love this, and if you haven't tried gelato before, then you absolutely must :) would love to do a detailed review on the hit / effects but my tolerance is so high these days i choose what i want to smoke purely by taste, and this is the kinda stuff i could smoke all day every day if i could afford to! worth every penny it's cheaper than the tins / packs and the same quality, and of course with RB it's overweight by a generous amount 99% of the time so this is the best priced cali around imo!! Nice one RB!
