Hi all,

After getting a message from a customer who has a long term illness, and who is unfortunately on the list of those who will be in isolation for the coming months, i've decided to up my order processing to take the Corona virus situation into account.

I'm lucky enough to have access through my other half (a nurse in the NHS) to 100% pharmaceutical grade Isopropyl Alcohol. This stuff basically kills any and all bacteria and potential viruses.

I also have medical grade gloves and masks.

I'll be using all of this to process orders from now on, cleaning down all packages before they are placed in the padded envelope for sending.

I would advise people when receiving the post to wash their hands thoroughly after they open the parcel, but after this the package inside will be as sterile as possible for your safety.

This may be slightly over the top (i'm not even sure if the virus can be transmitted on the packaging i use) but i'd rather take a bit more time and effort to make everyone as safe as possible.

I'm a big bloke so don't need to be eating anymore than I have to but the Cupboards, Fridge and anything else that contained food took a right battering last night.

A real nice hi on this one tingly body to start then settling in to a nice body stone.

The best thing about this bud( apart from the munchies) I found is the more I vaped the hornier I got. Glad the wife was here last night. 😁

So to sum Bulldogs Mac.

A lovely bit of bud that will get you high, fat, and in trouble with the missus.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I have a bit of bad news. My current grow of Gorrilla Zkittles by Barney's Farm has almost completely failed....😞

I thought I'd share this information for anyone thinking of using Barney's Farm in future as I'm almost certain (like 99%) that the problem is a bad batch of seeds.

Out of 8 plants which reached the flowering stage looking OK, only 2 have made it to week 6 of flower. The other 6 I pulled as they were either completely useless (zero bud sites, really leggy and just extremely weak...a literal waste of space in the tent) or they hermied.

Usually a hermaphrodite plant is cause by stress, but there is nothing that should be stressing these plants right now. The equipment is all identical, temperature is perfect and there is very little relitive humidity to deal with at this time of year.

Also, the two remaining plants are actually really healthy and look like they will yeild well so the only conclusion I can come to is that 75% of the seeds were rubbish.

This is a real shame as I know Barney's Farm get some bad press, but I've always liked growing the GZ and love the limey smell and taste. Unfortunately though this will be the last time I grow this strain and the last time I use Barney's Farm.

For any growers out there, I would avoid Barney's if I was you. I should've just stuck to Anesia Seeds who have been great, but I really fancied a bit of Zkittles...a decision which has come back (after 3 months of hard work and massive energy bills) to bite me in the arse.

Not the end of the world, but thought I'd share my bad luck so hopefully you can avoid making the same mistake I did.

(MAC by Anesia Seeds is just finishing curing now so will be available at the end of the May).

I'll be doing the Amnesia Flash again as although she wasn't the best yeilder, she was a fantastic smoke and I'm still enjoying it!

I recovered from the latest covid/flu/whatever and got back on LB just in time for Bulldog’s latest grow. ‘Amnesia Flash’ by Anesia Seeds, the same company behind Druid’s Magic’s last grows which were so well received. I tried DM’s Dankberry and Frozen Black Cherry and I think there are definite similarities between those grows and this one.

PREMIUM:

Very nice looking medium-sized buds (up to 2g), tight, dense and heavy. Slightly squashed due to top level stealth. Professionally manicured and coated with fine crystals - some sparkly, glassy-looking patches where the trichomes have squashed together against the stealth, very attractive 😊. Fresh and still slightly tacky inside. Smell has high notes of pine and citrus against a dank, earthy background. Smokes very smoothly. The taste - like DM’s recent grows - isn’t bold or flavourful, it's more a subtle sour citrus/grapefruit flavour and a faint skunkiness. It’s a different taste but still pleasant. The high (again, like the DM crops) is very special and refreshingly different. From the name I’d expected a sativa and was pleasantly surprised to see that it’s actually a 70% indica, much more to my taste! But, for me and my smoking buddy, there’s still definitely something of an initial sativa hit in this smoke! We’ve had a couple of days smoking this exclusively and the first few spliffs on both days gave us energetic tingles in the head and down through the body, and a slight increase in head chatter, effects I’d normally associate with a strong sativa. First effects include a slight rushiness and mild euphoria. It gives a bright, creative feeling with clarity of thought and it’s a positive, ‘up’ high, happy and sociable. Those first effects quickly calm into a very nice, mellow and relaxing body stone whilst still being sociable, and we both experienced nice, rolling waves of brightness, good humour and mild euphoria.
With more smokes, the rushy/euphoric aspects melt away and the mellowness and body relaxation grows, making it more what you’d expect from a 70% indica. It’s a very clean high and definitely stronger than I expected, and again comparable to the DM grows. I’ve a decent tolerance and I’m seeing it as more of an evening/night smoke - it’s a lovely, strong smoke for the daytime too, you can still be ‘functional’ on it but I certainly wouldn't be able to hide that I was on it, especially with those initial sativa-like effects! My ability to speak coherently seems to go out the window nowadays when I’m on sativas! This indica hits very differently to the 70% indicas I’m used to and it’s a very nice, refreshing change. I’m still learning and I’ve enjoyed having my expectations turned on their heads by this excellent, top quality smoke!

BUDGET (the best value item on LB?!!):

Obviously very similar to the premium 😉. The buds aren’t as well-formed but they’re still dense and heavy, there’s nothing scraggly and no stalks. The manicure, as you’d expect, is not quite as tight but it’s only tiny leaves that remain and they have crystals. And, for a budget item, these buds are big! It’s very hard to find anything smaller than my thumbnail, with some buds being similar in size to the premium buds (with a few up to 1g). I haven’t had enough of it to be sure but it seems a little less strong than the premium, with less of the initial sativa-type effects. It’s still an excellent smoke, though, and absolutely amazing at this price. It’s definitely the best value for money item I’ve seen on LB, working out at around only £90 an oz! I know many people, myself included, who’ve paid a lot more for smoke that’s nowhere near this level of quality. FFS, there’s trim selling for more than this on LB! Bulldog obviously knows that he could sell these ‘budget buds’ for close to twice the price, and the fact that he doesn’t reflects his ethics and whole approach here on LB.

There’s a very high standard of care and professionalism in how BB approaches his business, from the grow through to his detailed and honest descriptions, his comms, and packaging and stealth (with the stealth being by far the best I’ve had through LB). Attention to detail from start to finish, and just ‘doing the job right’ - everything’s of the highest quality without posing, affectations or ego. It seems that BB’s very much about ‘keeping it ‘real’, and I love that a vendor who’s had to put up with so many trolls on here has stuck with it. He demonstrates his growing skills and experience - and the way he thinks things should be done - by popping up occasionally and dropping these excellent grows at amazing prices, like a fucking boss! 😂

A ‘biggas on a budget’ review, for anyone considering budget or shake/trim offers. ‘Bulldog’s Budget Bud’. I believe it was previously listed as ‘Jack Herer Shake’ or something similar, but has been renamed to separate and distinguish it from what other vendors are selling as shake. And that’s definitely fair! Just going by the looks alone of some vendors’ shake, this shouldn’t be confused as being in that same category.

One of the main things to set it apart is the leaf to bud ratio - it’s almost all bud. My order, which was a little overweight, had less than 1g of leaf. The rest was all bud, some popcorn but the vast majority bigger than that. Nice, green buds, some tight, some a little looser, but all nicely trimmed. No stalks or anything scraggly. They’re the lower, weaker buds of the plant, but they’ve still been nicely presented.

The smell and taste are appropriate for lower buds, pleasant enough but not extreme in any way. It’s a clean, smooth smoke and the taste develops over time. It was described appropriately as not being particularly strong - I have a decent tolerance too so it wasn’t that strong for me - but it’s strong enough to be a pleasant daytime smoke. 1 smoke instantly takes the edge off, and 2 leaves me well happy and mellow with a little buzz, still about able to do stuff, but also high enough that I don’t want to see or speak to anyone who isn’t also high 😉 It’s definitely a creeper, and with a slight lean to the sativa side.

Cost was $99 including RM 1st Class postage for 20g (around £82 for just under 3/4 oz) which makes it cheap for LB, and very inviting when compared to other items in that similar price range. For those on a budget it could be well worth choosing this as a daytime smoke, and using the money saved to buy something a little stronger for the evening.

I’d love to talk about the stealth but obviously won’t! I haven’t bought from that many different vendors (5 or 6 maybe, but well-known, high reputation ones) and this is definitely the best stealth I’ve seen yet. Thought and care in misdirection, I really liked it 👍 Impressive, and *reassuringly* so.

Finally, Bulldog’s comms have been excellent. Genuinely the most pleasant, in-depth and helpful comms I’ve had with a vendor, and I know that he’s helped other bigga friends of mine too. On that note, if you have less than 10 buys on your account you should message him before trying to order. This was the first time I’ve made a ‘custom order’ - it was all very simple, and I enjoyed the ‘personal touch’ of my own image-tailored account 😂

Hope the review helps anyone who’s on a budget. The relatively low price of this budget bud is around what some vendors are asking for their shake/trim deals, but the bud ratio, size and how well presented these buds are will probably make this a more appealing and better value-for-money offer for some biggas - and that’s before you take into account the excellent stealth and pleasant comms.
