This was a real surprise treat! Wasn't expecting anything special (from other reviews) but I thought it was very good, with one of the nicest flavours I've had. Buds were around 1g with a couple of smalls. Nicely trimmed, airy and spongey, fresh enough to have a little give/bounce, and still slightly sticky from the covering of small crystals. Dark greens, almost black in places, with dark orange pistils. The smell is gorgeous - it feels like you're getting high just from sniffing it! - a *very* strong smell that starts with that Zoap-lemony smell followed by a very strong, fresh, bright and citrus-y (grapefruit/guava?) smell with the slight sweetness of Zkittlez. I've just had a whiff of the blim that's left and it's faded but still divine 🤤. Smoked smooth for me, not hot at all. A gorgeous taste, similar to Zkittlez (but a little more citrus and a hint of mint) on the inhale, with a sweet, creamy exhale. Friend described the taste as 'very fruity, like autumnal berries'. The 'high' was all physical, nothing cerebral, big 'woozy' waves in the head and body, quite sedative, made eyelids heavy and affected vision. Warm and comforting in the chest, and deeply relaxing in the body. Lightness around head and shoulders, slight feeling of broadening of perception, increased awareness of sounds. More sedative for me than some other 80-90% indicas - deeply relaxing and with an absolutely amazing flavour. Highly recommended and I'll definitely look for this strain again. Big fan of Gelato 33 and couldn't wait to try JB's version. 1 x 1.8g nug, the rest around 0.5g. Photogenic pine structured buds (not boulders), dark olive green with black speckling all over, some buds almost completely black. Has a bright, sweet, candy smell, slightly sherbert-y. Smoke is *very* smooth - like Doja's Legend strain (but less so), it actually feels 'good' on the lungs, like it helps ease breathing - only the 2nd time I've ever experienced that! Very nice 'delicate' taste - a sweet creaminess that's pronounced but light so not overpowering, and it stays in the mouth. It hits straightaway - an airy, open, expanding feeling up top, like the top of your head's been taken off (not euphoric and in no way intense) leaving an 'openness' of mind. A nice, chilled relaxation that comes in gentle waves and feels like it's soaking into the body from the chest area, not heavy at all, more 'relieving', makes you want to enjoy a good stretch! Leaves a bright, 'up', positive mood. Its effects feel 'fine' (as opposed to coarse) and *super clean*, more like an edible. Some biggas compare these JBs packs to fine wines and I think that's apt here - this isn't for people who want to get 'wasted', it's a finer, more quality product than that. Smaller buds (up to 1g, most around 0.5g). Bright green with lots of purple (almost black) patches. Leafless boulders, very dense and tight, has give/bounce when squeezed, fine coating of small crystals. Ground up it's almost all purple, very pretty! Lovely smell - candy sweet with vanilla and subtle red wine and nutty tones. Smokes smooth and clean. Nice taste - strong, creamy vanilla with a hint of (caryophyllene) spice. A nice high that starts with a touch of euphoria and lifts mood. Gentle in the head, no chatter. Seeps into the body over time, easing aches, physically relaxing, leaving a nice, mellow, chilled and happy state. Obvious quality. Recommended.
