Oh yes mate, fishing is one of the best ways to get away from the everyday madness. When I used to live in London, Hanningfield reservoir was one of my favourite places to go trout fishing. You can rent a boat with a motor and cruise around the lake while looking for trout, they are so much fun to catch. Where I live now there are some beautiful reservoirs so found my queit place took some mushies and few prerolled hash joints had one of the best day ever. Didn't catch anything tho was too busy with enjoying the surroundings. On that same day unexpectedly my mother in law stayed over, who knows what she thought when I came home as I was a mess lol.

i'm a fly fisher so sitting around is not for me, but smoking some heavy sativa and wondering the canals and local rivers and lakes is the one for me!

but its way too hot at the moment for pike, so i just use my #7 rod and go for perch mainly this time of year, but come sep/oct break out the #9 rod and go for the crocs lol,

Always fancied a crack at fly fishing, few lakes near me that do a day deal and lesson going to try one day!

Yes mate,knocked it on the head when my 3rd child came a few years ago but starting to get back to it now,my son is just about old enough to come with me now, always get a carp rod out and a float rod for the tiddlers.

Same as me but I made the decision one child was enough lol, he is 8 now and I’ve joined him up to a couple of clubs with me it’s great fun

3 and I have done my bit for the great British replacement rate,my lad is 8 now too, started taking him last year for tiddlers,this year it's carp time,had his p.b 7lb 7 oz last week,next time it's Drayton reservoir for an easy pb over 10lb

Been course fishing since I was 14. Am 43 now. Not very prolific but have caught some decent fish in my times. Love the whole experience of fishing (not just catching) - being outdoors etc. I love getting stoned and watching Whitehouse and Mortimer - takes me back to my youth fishing lakes and rivers in the Surrey countryside and smoking soap bar 🙏

Last time I went fishing on a boat in the ocean and the motion sickness got to me haha the second I caught a fish and got a whiff of the smell as I reeled it in I threw up all over the fish and just let it go 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Would love to do sea fishing.

Controlled growing environments that are dialled in correctly don't care whether they are in Coventry or California. There are certain parameters with relative humidity, temperature, PH and EC levels and for more advanced grows, ppm of CO2 that are transferable globally.

The argument could be made that the genetics are better in places like California because of the freedom those guys have to cross reference with each other legally, and create fantastic seed banks. However one could argue that Spain has the same ability and in my experience, they produce some fantastic strains which compare to anything I've tried/grown from the US.

In terms of strength, I'd be very concerned about buds that look like marbles/pebbles and do "melt your face off" because if I was a betting man I'd guess the new generation of synthetic PGRs and more importantly, actual synthetic cannabinoids are all over that stuff... but that's just my opinion (however if Germany and its testing of steet cannabis is anything to go by, which is basically 80% contaminated ... I'd be very concerned if I didn't grow myself).

A plant grown in a tent/grow room at 25-30 °C lights on and around 18-20 °C lights off, with relative humidity at around 50% (until late in flower) , 5.8-6.3 PH and 1.2-1.6 EC in coco/hydro doesn't care where it's grown. It could be the Antarctic. The weather outside means nothing.

Growing in the UK can be a real chore with the dramatic temperature and humidity fluctuations, but this can be overcome with equipment like Evolution environment controllers, AC units and dehumidifiers in summer, and heaters in winter. It's all just a matter of cost.

I've never met a grower that thinks geographical location means much at all if they have invested in the right equipment, (unless they're growing outdoors which is an entirely separate subject).

Maybe biggas should ask themselves why certain weed looks completely different recently, and turns you into a dribbling mess. Why all of a sudden does it look like the buds have been shaved? Is it because it's such high quality...?

One of my major complaints is the amount of overly dense and tumbled buds that seem to be everywhere and seemingly celebrated for their denseness.

Having grown for over 15 years, hundreds of strains in multiple mediums I have never produced those rock hard nuggets that seem to be everywhere now - honestly how much PGR are the using nowadays in these large grow ops.

I like that fluffy goodness from my nugs not gravel.

Generally our imports are pretty old by the time we get them. But they can hit hard whilst the lights might have gone out for looks they really can deliver!

LB growers are incredible…that’s the way to get the wonderful sticky sparkly goodness. But for the “face melter” fans they don’t always have that aspect….
