Hey Biggas,
when i first started using LB i settled on Coinbase as my app of choice as i liked the ease of use, straight from your bank > to app > to LB, easy.
The problem is that for the 3rd time now im going without my meds because of Coinbase, there's a weekly limit of 300 sheets and also a daily limit, that with the high rates now makes me think there must be a better option as I wont get anything in now till Thursday and I needed it to drop tomorrow so was wondering if you can help out gang?
Any advice will be appreciated, cant keep going without.

Paybis is one of the most straightforward ways to pay on LB. Can pay direct to LB wallet address from any deposit method. Fees are waived for your first transaction also and customer support is very good and responsive.

Same thing happened to me on Kraken, i think its because i set up card instead of bank but i thought i was setting up bank, im sure they do this on purpose so they can sit on your cash for a few days.

Exodus was one of the first i tried purely as a wallet i think but wasnt aware you could buy coin on there too, ill check that out again definitely thank you.

I joined a few days ago and followed the advice given either on my welcome message or on this site somewhere. The advice was to get a wallet on blockchain.com and to buy coins via Bittylicious. I signed up to both and bought £490 worth of coins for my first purchase. GL

I've never understood the issue with coinbase. Everyone always states high fees yet EVERY other crypto I've used have had significantly higher fees than coinbase. If you were signed up to coinbase pro (now advanced trade) and buy using the portfolio app, then you get much reduced fees than usual. I literally pay like 40p in fees including the buying and sending.

Thank you ill look into this, im not aware of the portfolio app and yeah i know the fees are competitive on coinbase, that and the ease of use is why i settled on it but the £300 limit is the real problem and it says my limit is at the highest possible.

and yeah most of the ones ive tried since settling on coinbase do have similar or higher fees but not all.

Actually shortly after posting this when i was checking other apps out my coinbase limit went up as well to 3000 a month so i stopped trying so hard to replace it.
does seem to be a few others that are low fees and easy to use like Bitpanda and Exodus so i may switch still at some point.

See in terms of the limit, I only really buy like $100 a week so I never really have a need to use it. As far as I know, with Coinbase since they removed coinbase pro and added advanced trade, you now need to pay a monthly subscription for no fees and a higher limit (coinbase one). Just no matter what, NEVER go to cypto.com. Worst experience I ever had

Thank you ill take your word on that one, yeah i ordered bits for 2 of my pals at the same time and blew my limit to pieces, now the bit i was going to get to do me till that bit turns up is a pipedream lol, how much is the monthly subscription, does it pay for itself in reduced fees do you think?

It would depend on your needs/wants. It's $20 a month so unless you are going to be buying/sending enough crypto to rack up $20 worth of fees, it's probs not worth it. Your limit is determined by account not coinbase in general ie coinbase don't have a percentage value to go off, it goes off your location, use, payment methods etc. You can see this by going to the "limits" section of your account. Essentially, anyone that has a $300 limit is because of a uncomplete account that has maybe not been verified or has not signed up for the advanced trade. Go to settings and account limits on Coinbase to see this information. A fully set up account can have up to a $20,000 limit through b a n k transfers

im not signed up to advanced trade no so maybe thats why i have a limit, its complete otherwise.
i probably do use that much in fees thinking about it, maybe that will be the way to go, im going to setup and try a couple of these other ones our fellow biggas have suggested.
ill update the thread if i find anything worth mentioning.

currently using blockchain but fees are shit dont recommend, but they dont ask me for id and selfie every 3 transactions like coinbase

coinbase also disabled my account for 3 months once for asking a question about my account absolute joke.

imo btc is terrible now fees never used to be so high

i have used exodus before to receive payments and transfer from the wallet with funds already in there fees are dirt cheap havent used in about a year and a half or so

think i paid about £15-20 in fees to purchase and send £219 btc with blockchain about 2 weeks ago

you only need to id the first time on coinbase and those fees are definitly too high mate.
through coinbase that would be about half the fees i think.

ive heard great things about Binance + i can get xrp on it unlike blockchain which is a benefit to me think you can get xrp on cb aswell.

i guess it what does you well if coinbase aint doing you dirty no need to change plus cb gives some people the learn and earn program did it back and made about £30 after i converted to btc defiantly a feature no others have.

Fucking coinbase closed my account, kind of my fault for sending directly transax addy, but still, their overreach, its my fucking money and I can with it as I please. I use exodus now, exchange rates aren't as good but still easy to work with and no ID issues.

it did take a few attempts to verify my id the first time, maybe thats what you had.
main issue with CB is the 300 daily limit, once a month me and a friend do a bigger order when that becomes a problem.
the other one ive tried so far is Kraken which had some teething issues but seems to have good fees

Hey Gang,
Thanks for getting involved everyone, definitely feel there's a few options here that are better than what im using.
Just to update on my issue with Kraken, i realised now i set the kraken one up wrong and if i had done it right it would've worked fine so i should say to you all to check that one out, nice big limit etc, looks pretty easy to use if youre not an idiot like me
